GuideNow's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

GuideNow accesses the following types of Google user data to deliver our digital adoption platform features:
Google Drive Access
We access your Google Drive files to read and write onboarding content, training materials, and guidance documents. This enables GuideNow to create, store, and manage in-app walkthroughs and help content directly within your Google Drive workspace.
Basic Profile Information
We collect your basic Google profile information (name, email address, profile picture) to personalize your GuideNow experience and identify you within our platform.
Important Commitment:
We do not use your Google data for advertising purposes. We do not sell your Google data to third parties. We only share your Google data with service providers who support our platform and are bound by strict confidentiality and data protection obligations.
Retention and Deletion of Google Data
We retain your Google user data only for as long as necessary to provide you with GuideNow services and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Storage and Security

Data Retention Period

Data Deletion Requests

Revoking Access to Your Google Account
You have full control over GuideNow's access to your Google Account. You can revoke our access at any time through the following methods:
Via Google Account Settings
Visit your Google Account's Third-party apps & services page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions to view and manage apps that have access to your Google data. Find GuideNow in the list and click 'Remove Access' to revoke our permissions immediately.
Within GuideNow
You can disconnect your Google Account directly from your GuideNow account settings. Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Google Account and click 'Disconnect'. This will immediately revoke GuideNow's access to your Google data.

What Happens After Revocation:
When you revoke GuideNow's access to your Google Account, we will no longer be able to access your Google data. Any previously synced data will be retained according to our retention policy unless you request immediate deletion. Certain GuideNow features that depend on Google integration may no longer be available after revocation.
